Buried Atari Games Found!

Back in 1983, the video game market was spiraling downwards towards a crash.  At that time, Atari was struggling business and spent millions of dollars on a E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial video game in hopes to cash in on the mega successful Steven Spielberg E.T. movie.  Unfortunately, the video game was horrible flop and is considered one of the worst video games in history.  An urban legend started that Atari buried the games and unsold hardware into a New Mexico landfill.

As part of an upcoming Microsoft’s Xbox Entertainment Studios documentary, the urban legend is now debunked!  Construction workers have unearthed the video game cartridges and more items will surface soon.  What do you think?  Is this an incredible discovery for the video game history?  Would you play this game if you had the hardware?  Check out the video game play.
